I currently have the privilege of working with
Melissa T. R. Hawkins, researcher and curator at the Division of Mammals of the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. Her work is focused on Southeast Asian tree squirrels, flying squirrels, ringtails and methodological advancements. In addition to these focal taxa she is broadly interested in mammals and zoonotics including COVID-19 research from museum specimens housed in the USNM collection. She has wide taxonomic interests in mammal conservation, phylogenomics and genomics. If you are interested in joining her research team please send her an email! |
